GRAY, MURIEL S., 98, of Montpelier, passed away February 18 at Rowan Court Nursing Home, after a brief illness. Born Nov. 11, 1914, in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Clement and Ann (Fleischmann) Sees. Moving to Vermont at an early age, she grew up in the Barnard-Woodstock area. Muriel married Harold Gray on March 14, 1937. They moved to Montpelier in 1941. Muriel worked for many years as a waitress at the Lobster Pot Restaurant, retiring in 1999 at the age of 75. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Garcia, and her husband, Lynn; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold, in 1999; a sister, Edna McDonald; and a brother, Harold Sees.
