BROWN, ROBERT “BOB” EARL, 64, of Greensboro Bend, died peacefully at Vermont Respite House in Williston after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born May 24, 1949, in Barre, the first child of Betty Brown and the late William Robert Brown. Bob made his home for many years in Cabot. He was employed at Cabot Creamery for his early working life. For the last several years he was a mail carrier for both Marshfield and Cabot post offices. Bob was an active member of the Hardwick Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was known as a bold evangelizer, and he made it his life’s occupation to honor his God Jehovah to the best of his ability. Bob is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gigi Brown; his mother, Betty Brown, of Marshfield; his son, David Brown, of Grand Isle; and his daughter, Sarah Brown, of Phoenix, Ariz. He is also survived by his brothers, Mervin, Mitchie, Clinton and Randon; and his sister, Patty, and husband, Archie. There are numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews who loved Bob. A great many people were honored to have Bob as their friend, and he will be dearly missed.
