She married Robert Allen Franks, Sr. on June 21, 1968. Together they raised and loved five children. A fond memory of her loving husband of almost 50 years before his passing on February 23, 2018, was them waltzing on the dance floor. The memories will last forever for all of us.

She was always knitting or crocheting, creating extra special blankets, baby sweaters, booties and hats for her family and friends. She took much pride in other hobbies like maple sugaring, canning vegetables, making fabulous pies, pickles and caring for her many farm animals.

Picking huckleberries in Pennsylvania with Bob’s family was always a special time for her. A few other favorite times, the annual Champlain Valley Fair, her and Bob spending time on their pond and most of all enjoying time with her family.
