Kimberly Sue Dexter, 54, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at her home with her sisters, son, and dedicated friends by her side. Kim’s bravery and tenacity were unmatched as she courageously fought cancer in the last years of her life. Born on January 12, 1969, in Berlin, she was the daughter of Stewart and Pamela (Bowman) Irish. The family resided in Waterbury, where Kim graduated from Harwood Union High School in 1986. Shortly after graduation, on July 12, 1986, Kim married Dick Dunn and went on to have two sons, raising their family in Williamstown, before they divorced in 2006. Survivors include her sons, sisters, grandchildren and extended family. A private burial in the Maple Street Cemetery in Waterbury will take place at a later date.
