SWIFT, BRENDA MAE, 77, of West Berlin, died March 26, at her home. She was born March 9, 1937, in Barre, the daughter of Floyd and Madeline (Taylor) Wheeler. She married Paul J. Swift on Feb. 2, 1957, in Hardwick. He died Feb. 16, 1998. She worked for Northfield Wood Products from 1976 to 2006, retiring after 30 years. She enjoyed tending her garden and operating a lawn figurine business. Survivors include three children: Paul Jay Swift, of West Berlin, Lori Ashley, of Waterbury Center, and Sally Matison, of West Berlin; and two granddaughters.
