DAMON, RUTH A., 92, of Montpelier, died March 2, at Heaton Woods, where she lived for the past few years. She was born in Sudbury on Sept. 9, 1921, the daughter of William and Esther (Cook) Damon. Ruth was a graduate of Brandon High School, Castleton Normal School and the University of Vermont. She taught in elementary schools in Norwich, Leicester, Windsor and Montpelier. Ruth is survived by a niece, Cynthia Crooks, her husband, Ronald, and their daughter, of Katy, Tex.; nephew William Damon and wife, Cynthia, of Moraga, Calif.; nephew Lloyd Damon, his wife, Teresa, and their daughter, of Burlingame, Calif.
