TACEY, BEVERLY LOUISE, 90, of Barre, died February 20, at Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin. Her family had been at her bedside. Born Sept. 16, 1923, in Barre, she was the daughter of Lewis D. and Florence (Miles) Lincoln. She attended local schools and was a 1941 graduate of Spaulding High School. Soon after graduation, she was employed for many years by the National Life Insurance Co. in Montpelier and later was employed by the Granite Bank in Barre, retiring in 1986. On April 29, 1943, she married Francis Tacey, and the couple made their home in Barre. He died Nov. 10, 2006. Doll collecting, Westie dogs, reading, doing word puzzles and trips to the ocean were special times for her. Survivors include her stepdaughter, LuAnne Powers, and her husband, Christopher, of Barre; two granddaughters; and her stepson, Luther Morway.
