MARSHA, CAROLYN A. WHITE, 69, died February 27, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. She was born Aug. 16, 1944, in Brattleboro, the daughter of Claude and Gertrude (Lavender) White. She was a graduate of Brattleboro Union High School. Mrs. Marsha worked at American Paper Co. in Vernon, Central Vermont Humane Society in East Montpelier and as a CNA at the former Mayo/DeLary Home, retiring a few years ago from Mayo Health Care in Northfield. She enjoyed bingo, painting, cards, games, crocheting, and was an avid reader, especially of Stephen King novels. Survivors include her husband, James H. Marsha Jr. of Northfield, whom she married Feb. 1, 1964, in Rockingham; a daughter, Melody Marsha of Northfield; a sister, Katherine Davidson of Connecticut; and one grandson. She was predeceased by two sons, James Marsha III in 1992 and Brian Marsha in 1972; and a brother, Loren White.
