CHALOUX, BRENT, 60, of Frostproof, Fla. and originally from Barre, passed away February 22. He was at home, surrounded by family, when his long battle with cancer came to its end. Brent was born in Barre, to Norman and Ruth Chaloux. He is survived by his wife, Melisia; a stepson, Patrick McCullough; his sister, Cindy George; his children, Krista Herzog, Peter Chaloux and Andrea Chaloux, and their mother, Susan Chaloux; and six grandchildren, as well as a large extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held this July in Vermont, with the date to be determined.
