KENNISON, LARRY WILLIAM SR., 68, of Middlesex, died February 1, at Fletcher Allen Health Care. He was born Dec. 23, 1945, in Johnson, the son of Vernon M. Kennison Sr. and Etta (Brown) Kennison. He attended public schools in Johnson and graduated from Johnson High School in 1963. On June 13, 1964, he married Jeri M. Hayden in Northfield. He enlisted in the armed services in 1965 and served during the Vietnam War, until his honorable discharge in 1967. Beginning in 1969, he worked as a Teamster truck driver for a number of companies, most recently for the former Consolidated Freight Co. Williston, where he retired in 2000. He was a member of American Legion Post 3 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 792. He enjoyed antique collecting, as well as auctions and flea markets. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, sports and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jeri Kennison, of Middlesex; daughter, Sheryl Chaffee, and husband, Ronald, of Barre; sons, Larry W. Kennison Jr. and wife, Amy, of Barre, Thomas Kennison and wife, Kimberly, of Barre, and Matthew Kennison and wife, Dawn, of Morrisville; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother Vernon Kennison Jr., of Worcester. He was predeceased by his siblings Viola Partlow, Polly Lepage, Virginia Blanchard, Morris Kennison, Buddy Kennison and Earnest Kennison.
