Elaine Demers Fennessey
Elaine Demers Fennessey, 79, passed away after a brief illness in Lakeland, Florida. Elaine was born on August 16, 1942, in Barre to Emile and Blanche Demers. She attended St. Monica’s grade school and graduated from Marian High School in 1960. After graduation she worked for the State of Vermont, Tax Department where she met her future husband, Earle Fennessey. They married October 2, 1976 and resided in Montpelier until retirement when they moved to Ocala, Florida. Earle passed away in 2016 shortly after their 40th anniversary. Elaine relocated to Lakeland, FL to be closer to family and she resided at Florida Presbyterian Homes. Elaine leaves loving friends and family, especially cousins, Dennis and Sandy (Demag) Demers of Barre, VT; Ed Demers of Ocala, FL; and John and Linda (Demers) Ricci of Lakeland, FL. Interment and a memorial service will be at Florida Presbyterian Homes on March 25th.
