STURGE, ZOEY KATHLEEN, 11, of Barre, died October 30, at Fletcher Allen Health Care, with her family at her bedside. Born June 23, 2002, in Berlin, she is the daughter of Bryan Sturge and Michell Blondin, and the sister of Alexander Deforge and Rachell Sturge. Zoey was in the sixth grade at Barre City Elementary School and enjoyed playing basketball, softball and field hockey. She also enjoyed listening to music, dancing, swimming, and times spent with her friends and family were very special to her. Besides her parents she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Dean “Papa Dean” Sturge of Alberta, Canada, and Anita Edson of Barre; maternal grandparents, William “Papa Bill” and Kathleen Blondin of Barre Town; great-grandparents, Mary and Robert Merchant, Ann Blondin, Irene and Merlin Neddo, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by great-grandparents, Clayton and Madeline Sturge, and William Edson.
