Julie Jane Michaud of George Street, Montpelier, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, at her home. She was 57 years old. She was born on Nov. 29, 1961, the daughter of Corbett and Marsha (Anderson) Nielson. She graduated from Montpelier High School in the class of 1980 and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Lyndon State College, where she met her husband, Frank Michaud. Survivors include her husband, children, parents and siblings. A memorial service was held on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at the Bethany Church in Montpelier. In lieu of flowers, the family’s request is for donations to the Montpelier Roxbury School District to be used for enhancing initiatives to promote literacy in memory of Julie’s love and passion for working with children.
