Philip Decroti was the son of Nellie and Tony Decroti, born in 1962. He and Carol Milam had one child, Page who in turn with Shaun Kennedy had one child, Ava. Phillip had 8 brothers and sisters. Lower grades were spent in Brooklyn and Staten Island, NY. Philip also attended graded school in Vermont. One day he walked to the high school in New York and was overwhelmed by the enormity of what he saw, he turned and walked away. At some point along he received his G.E.D Later, training included electrical – Norway and Sons, a truck driver school both in Barre. He had some schooling at Community College of Vermont as well as at Woodbury College (Paralegal) Some work in the past includes Gucci’s in sales, Bombardier, building trains, Charlio’s, bartending, odd jobs, outside work includes roofing, mowing and road work. Sugarbush ski area, maintenance, Cody Chevrolet mechanic also in Montpelier custodial work at National Life, temp work – State of Vermont in printing (legislative) also work way downstream with water management, property maintenance work with Many Canna, Dr. Guitti and Barrett Gregoire.
Passing the end of May, the day his father passed 40 years ago. His service was held at St. Augustine’s in Montpelier followed by burial service at St. Sylvester’s grounds near Barre Town School’s park like picnic spot where and open potluck and picnic followed.
He owned many cars, trucks etc. over time, having worked on most all of them.
Philip liked music, people and nature. He cared for Carol, adored his daughter and loved his new granddaughter, 8.
