WALSH, SEAN KENNETH, 56, of Barre, died July 14 at his home, as a result of colon cancer. Born Nov. 21, 1956, in Oceanside, Long Island, N.Y., he was the son of William J. and Nancie (Mullen) Walsh. He was a graduate of the former Montpelier Educational Facility and had attended Lyndon State College. Although he had followed several career paths, he will be most remembered as a longtime employee of S.R. Services in Montpelier. His greatest loves were his family, the Dallas Cowboys football team, and his annual fishing trips with his longtime friend, Loren.
He enjoyed his active membership in the Montpelier Kiwanis Club and was known for selflessly always being ready to help someone who needed a hand up. He is a treasured father, son, brother and uncle who leaves his parents, William and Nancie Walsh; his daughter, Samantha Walsh, of Williamstown; two sisters, Bridget Polow and husband, David, of Morrisville, and their children, and Tara Walsh and husband, James Mahoney, of Hyde Park, and their son; his brother, William Walsh, and wife, Arlene Davis, of Northfield, and his son; and uncles, aunts and cousins, as well as many friends.
