Leopold Norbert Dufresne died on June 13, 2018. He was born in Greensboro, VT, to Norbert and Mabel (Richardson) Dufresne on June 23, 1940. Leo attended Greensboro Elementary School until the family moved to Keene, NH, where he graduated from Keene High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962. He was stationed in Korea, where he was assigned to the transportation corps. After, Leo worked for American Optical Co. in Keene. On Aug. 31, 1963, he married Doris Bellavance. They moved to Derby, CT, where Leo worked for U.S. Electrical Motors. Wanting to return home to VT, he worked as a manager of the Bellavance Farm in Walden and as a driver for Ralston-Purina, Farrell Distributing and A. Bellavance and Sons Trucking. He took up gardening and tinkering as hobbies. In addition to being a hard worker, Leo was a warm and kind man. He loved visiting with friends and family and telling stories. He especially loved watching his grandchildren grow. After learning of his cancer diagnosis, Leo maintained a positive attitude. Leo and Doris raised their children in Marshfield. Leo is survived by his wife, Doris; three daughters and their husbands, Geri-Anne Daniels, Karen (and Kevin) Broderick, and Monique (and Robert) Link; two sons and their wives, Richard (and Diane) Dufresne, and Ronald (and Leigh Ann) Dufresne; 10 grandchildren; and his siblings, Bernice Taylor, Andre Dufresne and Elaine DuPont.
