RUTLEDGE, LYMAN E., of Seville, Fla., and formerly of South Duxbury, passed away July 6, surrounded by family at the Hospice Care Center in Orange City, Fla. Lyman was born October 30, 1944, in Concord Corners, Vt., the son of Wesley A. and Charity (Bunnell) Rutledge. Lyman is survived by his wife, Becky (West) Rutledge. Lyman and Becky were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on September 14, 2013. He is also survived by six daughters: Dawn (Jeff) Poitras; Rae-Marie (Jesse) Lockhart; Bille Jo (John) Raymond; Natasha Rutledge; Kristina Rutledge; Lisa Rutledge. He is survived by four sons: Christopher (Melanie) Rutledge; Jonathan (Michelle) Rutledge; David (Brittany) Rutledge; Conor Rutledge; as well as 19 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous foster children who resided within their Vermont home over 19 years.

He is also survived by two brothers, Wesley (Bonnie) Rutledge and Garry (Tina) Rutledge; one sister, Penny (Mark) Cuatt; sister-in-law Betsy Rutledge; brother-in-law Gordon Kimball; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lyman was predeceased by his parents, as well as a sister, Sheila Kimball, and brother, Jerry Rutledge. Lyman always enjoyed chasing the elusive white tail deer, fishing for the largest catch of the day, traveling, creative woodworking, watching western movies but was most known for being a great father to each of his children and lending a helping hand to any person(s) in need.
