Richard Neil Morrison, 59, of Bolster Road in Websterville, died unexpectedly at his home. He was born on June 22, 1958, in Waltham, MA, the son of Neil and Mildred (Hayden) Morrison. He attended school in Acton, MA. He later attended the Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where he graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree. Richard was an accountant and tax auditor. He was previously employed at the Union Bank and most recently with the Vermont Tax Department where he worked as a field auditor. Richard was a talented golfer, musician and artist. He loved to cook, developing recipes and sharing them with his friends and co-workers. He played the guitar. Richard was also fond of building computers. He received his black belt in the art of Tang Soo Do in Waterbury, Connecticut, in 2001 alongside his son, and went on to become a martial arts instructor for the next few years. He had been a member of the Waterbury, VT, Rotary Club in 2002-2004. Survivors include his son, Roderick Morrison, NJ; sisters Leslie Morey, of Texas, Cindy Cooperstein, of MA, and Janice Howard, of OH.
