CARR, WILLIAM M. SR., 85, of Cherry Hill, N.J., passed away on September 10. William was the husband of the late Joyce (nee Tucker); beloved father of William M., Jr. of Maple Shade, N.J., Deborah C. (Richard) Pappas of Arlington, Va., Anne C. (John) Picking of Haddonfield, N.J. and daughter-in-law Patty Carr of Pennsauken, N.J.; devoted grandfather of ten, and cherished great-grandfather of one. Bill, a 1953 graduate of Norwich University, was a member of the “Old Guard” and planned to attend his 60th reunion. His career as a facilities traffic manager at NJ Bell and AT&T spanned 32 years. Bill had been a longtime active member of the First Baptist Church of Haddonfield, N.J., holding many offices and serving on numerous boards. He was also very involved in the Boy Scouts of America on both the SJ district level and locally with Troop 64. Additionally, Bill loved traveling the world with his wife and summering in Vermont.
