Meagan Turnbough was born in Denver Colorado, to Jesse and Nancy Turnbough. Her and her sister Danysha were adopted by Judy Hebert & Gordon Jones in Vermont when she was eight. In her new family she had a 5 year old sister April who she always adored and looked out for. Meagan was very close to both her sisters. In her late teens Meagan moved back to Colorado to be near her birth and extended family.
Meagan truly loved family and especially her two children Salisia & Israel. She enjoyed teaching them how to love life and God. She was never afraid to show them affection. It brought her great joy to do activities with them such as dancing, singing, cooking, swimming and fitness. Meagan’s cooking was amazing anyone who has eaten it will tell you the same. Her beautiful smile would light up a room and when you heard her loud laugh you couldn’t help but smile along with her. She was a workout fanatic who could often be found at the gym in the wee hours of the morning. She touched many with her love and compassion. She was a beautiful strong woman who always carried herself with confidence. She will be missed but her beautiful,hilarious expressions and quirky personality will live on through her children.
Meagan is survived by her children Salisia and Israel Waters, birth mother Nancy Turnbough, adoptive parents Judy Hebert & Gordon Jones, sister April Jones, and brother Lee Turnbough. Meagan was predeceased by father Jessie Turnbough, and siblings Aishya, Danysha and Lawrence.
