Montpelier Art Walk will finish out another successful year with its last Art Walk of 2013 on Friday, December 6th from 4pm to 8pm.
This self-guided tour will feature live mannequins from Montpelier High School’s Masque drama club in many store front windows, as well as a luminaria on the VCFA campus and a tiny house tour as well. Many of the 26 venues will host artist receptions during this time, when visitors can meet the artists and talk about their work. December Art Walk is also a great time to consider artful gift purchases for the holidays.
The Vermont State House will also be open during this time, featuring its annual Victorian Christmas tree. The Center for Arts and Learning, a new consortium of art-focused organizations, will be hosting an open house to include member organizations such as the T.W. Wood Gallery, Monteverdi Music School and Summit School of Traditional Music.
