Jeremy Hansen is just what the towns of Berlin and Northfield and the state of Vermont need. He is an assistant professor of computer science at Norwich University and lives in Berlin with his wife and two young children. Jeremy has proven his commitment to our community by serving as a Berlin Select Board member, a Berlin Economic Development Committee member, and also on the Board of Directors of the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department.
I’ve known Jeremy for several years as a supporter of the Berlin Conservation Commission’s efforts to protect Berlin’s natural places and the environment. He has demonstrated a willingness to listen to his constituents, do his research and vote a minority opinion on the Select Board. These are qualities that require time and demonstrate independent critical thinking.
If you support Jeremy’s intention to improve the technical jobs sector in the state through better technical and trades education, to redirect tax incentives from out-of-state corporations to small Vermont businesses, and ensure that every Vermonter has decent work at a living wage, I hope you will consider casting your vote for him on November 4th for State Representative of Berlin and Northfield.
