Post-Reconciliation in Rwanda with Hope Tumukunde

On Tuesday, May 13th at 7pm Beth Jacob Synagogue welcomes Hope Tumukunde, vice mayor of Kigali, Rwanda for a talk about reconciliation twenty years after the Rwandan genocide.

Ms. Tumukunde is here in Vermont to further nurture and extend the good working relationships already taking place between many Vermonters and the people of Rwanda. Sponsors for this event include Beth Jacob Synagogue, First Church in Barre – Universalist, the Unitarian Church of Montpelier, Raise Rwanda, Rwanda and Vermont Exchange, The Ward Brook Center, the Vermont Council on World Affairs, and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom – Rwanda Chapter.
