MERCURIO, ROBERT GLENN, 23, of Roxbury, died suddenly at Fletcher Allen Health Care, on December 11, following a logging accident. Rob was originally from Massachusetts, born in Beverly and raised in Lynn. However, for the past year and a half, he built his life in Vermont, a place he had loved since childhood. Rob brought a smile to everyone who knew him. A fun-loving, free spirit, he was passionate about life and everything he did. He worked at Fresh Tracks Winery since the Fall of 2012, showcasing his experience and expertise from his associate degree earned at UMass, Amherst. He shared the home of his parents, Glenn and Lisa Mercurio, in Roxbury, until recently when he moved to East Randolph with his girlfriend, Emma Kirn, who brought him great joy. Rob loved his family and many, many friends with the intensity and zest he poured into everything. He was best friends with his brother, Keith, and extremely close to his cousin, Michael Norton Jr., all of his life. An unusually hard worker, he also knew how to relax, and loved sports and spending time in the outdoors. He grew his own peppers, and used them to make his own brand of hot sauces, which he had planned to market. This creative, amazing person will be missed forever by his parents, Glenn and Lisa, of Roxbury; his beloved brother, Keith, and Keith’s girlfriend, Alison Woodland of Lynn, Mass.; his Nana, Constance Mercurio, of Melrose, Mass.; godfather and uncle Stephen Friese of Manchester, N.H., godmother Meredith Anderton of Lynn, Mass.; girlfriend Emma Kirn; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
