ANDERSON, PHILIP F., 83
ANDERSON, PHILIP F., 83, died October 28. He was born Jan. 4, 1929, in Springfield, Mass., the son of Ernest and Dorothy (Fairchild) Anderson. He graduated from American International College in Springfield, Mass. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea. He married Beverley Hussey on April 26, 1952, in Springfield, Mass. She died in 2011. He was employed in sales in the insurance industry for many years and was in sales for a large food distributor. He lived in North Randolph, Chelsea and most recently North Springfield. He was a member of the Renewed Life in Jesus Church in Chester. He took part in Prison Ministry, Angel Tree and was a volunteer for the Springfield Meals on Wheels program. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Hier, of Weathersfield; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Anderson, of East Longmeadow, Mass.; and two nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Anderson.
