HARRNESS, CORINNE CAMPBELL, 82
HARRNESS, CORINNE CAMPBELL, 82, of Randolph, died November 5 at her daughter's home in Bethel. She was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Randolph, the daughter of L. Keith and Leola (Carpenter) Campbell. She attended Lyndon State College. She married Mitchell Harrness in Randolph on Jan. 1, 1949. She worked for several years in the Randolph High School cafeteria, for Dr. Arms at Randolph Veterinary Hospital and at the Mills Store in Randolph. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader, and was past president and chaplain for the Randolph American Legion Post 9 Auxiliary. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and horseback riding. She was a member of the United Church of Randolph and had volunteered at Gifford Medical Center, Menig Extended Care Facility and in the gift shop at Dartmouth Medical Center. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Stephen Harrness, of Sheldon, and Mitchell G. Harrness, of Randolph; a daughter, Deborah Richards, of Bethel; a brother, Lawrence Campbell, of North Clarendon; two sisters, Joyce Merrill, of Hardwick, and Rebecca Hedding, of Rutland; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Gregory Harrness.
