WALBRIDGE, NANCY JANE, 60


WALBRIDGE, NANCY JANE, 60, of Montpelier, passed into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on November 4, at Fletcher Allen Health Care, with her family at her side. Nancy was born on Aug. 12, 1952, in Montpelier, the daughter of Philip and Verna (Roya) Walbridge. She attended St. Michael's graded schools and Montpelier High School. She enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends. Many of her son's friends looked up to her as a mother figure. She loved traveling, camping, hunting, sitting around at campfires, boating, bowling, candles, wind chimes and owls, as well as listening to rock and roll music. Nancy was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Nancy worked for the Vermont Department of Employment and Training for over 30 years. She also worked at Country Cousins in Barre. She is survived by her son, Dondi Walbridge, of Montpelier, and two granddaughters; sisters Mary Tevyaw, of Greenville, S.C., Marlene Walbridge, of Colchester; brothers Philip Walbridge and his wife, Brenda, of Waterbury Center, Peter Walbridge and his wife, Sue, of Williamstown, Mark Walbridge and his wife, Judy, of Maulden, S.C., David Walbridge and his wife, Barbara, of Greenville, S.C., Joseph Walbridge and his wife, Tina, of Newport, N.H., Ronald Walbridge and his wife, Cheri, of Northfield; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Theresa Senecal, Paula Curtis and Mary McLellan-Gomes. She is also survived by her former husband, Fred Springer, and his family, Fred MacKenzie, Sherry Hurley, Terry Williams, Anthony Springer and Lucretia MacKenzie. Nancy was predeceased by two sisters, Brenda Sweeney, Verna Mae Clow, and a brother, William Walbridge.
