Capital Hockey Club Seeks to Fill Openings
The Capital Hockey Club, about to begin its 40th year as Central Vermont's premier adult (co-ed) hockey program, has openings in its programs for winter 2012-2013. In its four-team, non-serious league, which plays all of its games at Norwich University's beautiful Kreitzberg Arena, mostly on Tuesday nights starting October 16, the Club has several openings, including the need for one goalie.
In its Sunday morning pickup hockey program, also at Kreitzberg Arena starting October 14, the Club has two openings for skaters. And in its Thursday night pickup program, played at the Central VT Memorial Civic Center on Gallison Hill Road in Montpelier starting October 18, the Club has an opening for one goalie.
All of the Club's programs are FUN Hockey, with no body checking, no slapshots, no rough play, and no fighting. Age of players ranges from 20s to early 70s, with most being in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. If interested, call Tom Viall at 802-223-5562 for information.
