Toys for Tots Needs You!

Toys for Tots is starting to roll down the tracks towards Christmas. There are only 86 days till the big day and there is sooooo much to be done.
Last month I flew to Virginia to attend the Toys for Tots Coordinator╒s Convention. I sat in a big room with four hundred fellow coordinators for two days of training on æHow To Run A Successful Toys for Tots Campaign.' I know what needs to be done, but I need your help!
The Toys for Tots of Central Vermont will cover: Montpelier, Barre, Northfield, Plainfield, Calais, Worcester, Hardwick, Morrisville, Johnson, Craftsbury, Stowe, Waterbury, Mooretown, Waitsfield, Warren and surrounding areas. The toys we collect in Central Vermont, will go to the kids of Central Vermont!
First off, I need a large space to run the campaign in. This space is where all the toys will be brought, separated and picked-up by the various state agencies, church groups and other non-profit groups that will be distributing the toys to our local kids. It needs to have easy access for all the vehicles pulling up to drop off toys. I╒m looking for space close to my shop in Montpelier.
I need volunteers to donate their time to help me distribute the collection boxes, collect the toys to bring to our campaign center and help sort the toys.
Then I need help from you all to collect the toys.
1. I need businesses that get high traffic to put out one of our collection boxes.
2. If your office or place of business is having a holiday party, have everyone bring a toy to donate, and we will come and pick them up!
3. If you are putting on a BIG event in the Central Vermont area and are willing to help out Toys for Tots, you could ask all the attendees to bring a toy to your event as part of your marketing.
4. If you see one of our collection boxes, please donate a toy.
