PECOR, RUTH I., 85, died September 15 at Central Vermont Medical Center. Born in Worcester on March 26, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ella (Dutsel) Richardson. She attended schools in Richmond. On July 13, 1946, she married Ernest Pecor in Richmond. They made their home in Montpelier. He died in 1967. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, needlepoint and dancing. Survivors include two sons, John Pecor of Montpelier and Neal Pecor of Barre; three daughters, Barbara Cobb of Rutland, Rose Thygeson of Texas and Amy Mansur of Barre; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one sister, Nellie Richardson of Maine. She was predeceased by four brothers, Charlie Richardson, Homer Richardson, Levi Richardson and Maurice Richardson; three sisters, Helen Richardson, Amy Richardson and Madge Richardson.
