VCIL Ads are Insulting
Editor:
The Vermont Center for Independent Living is sponsoring TV ads that suggest disabled Vermonters are not able to make decisions for themselves. As a disabled person, I am very much able to make decisions about my life and I know what I want.
VCIL diminishes and insults the disabled community by it's inference that we cannot make intelligent choices about our circumstances, our bodies and our lives.
