LAFOND, PAUL H., 63, of Barre, died December 3 at Rowan Court Health & Rehabilitation Center in Barre. Born in Barre on Oct. 5, 1947, he was the son of the late Jules and Lucille (Roy) Lafond. Paul attended Barre City schools and was a graduate of Marion High School. After his schooling he moved to Connecticut where he was employed at a manufacturing company; he returned to Barre in the mid-70s and was employed at Smith Whitcomb & Cook for a few years. Paul then worked for The Times Argus doing route delivery until his retirement due to ill health. He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church of Barre. Survivors include two brothers, Marcel Lafond of Barre and Ernest LaRose of Poultney, as well as many nieces and nephews.
