GOODRICH, JULIAN WAYNE "GOODY," 88
GOODRICH, JULIAN WAYNE "GOODY," 88, passed away at the Vermont Respite House in Williston on September 29. He was born in Montpelier June 2, 1922, son of the late Julian and Helen (Rile) Goodrich. Julian was proud to have served his country during World War II with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, he moved to the Burlington area where he practiced architecture for over 60 years. He enjoyed golfing with friends, sailing on Lake Champlain and hunting with his brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Holden) Goodrich and her children: Lisa Echo and husband Kurt and their family, Alison Mayo and her family, and Mark Holden and wife Debra. He is also survived by his daughter Carolyn Young and husband Mark; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his twin brother John Goodrich and wife Ruth and several nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by his wife of many years Patricia (Holland) Goodrich, his brother Robert Goodrich; his sisters Helen Tynan and Virginia Fahey.
