BOLIO, PAULINE M., 75


BOLIO, PAULINE M., 75, of Barre, passed away on February 22. Beloved mother, sister and friend to many, Pauline was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Barre. Pauline was the daughter of the late Arthur and Louise (Bouchard) Carbonneau and twin sister of Paul Carbonneau. Pauline attended St. Monica's Catholic School and was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church in Barre. In 1951 she married Medward Chartier in St. Monica's Church in Barre and had two sons, Paul and Robert. They later divorced. On Valentine's Day 25 years ago she married Lester Bolio. They made their home in Essex Junction before moving to East Street in Barre, where they resided for many years. Survivors include her husband, Lester Bolio of Barre; her son Robert Chartier and wife, Rosemary, of Orange; two sisters, Alice Antonitis of Barre and Jean McGlynn of East Calais; her twin brother, Paul Carbonneau, and wife, Cecile, of Barre; her stepchildren John Bolio of Barre, Danny Bolio of Stowe, Vangine Bolio of Savannah, Ill., and Brenda Metevier of Waterbury; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her eldest son, Paul Chartier; four sisters, Annette Gingras, Dorothy Gosselin, Yvonne Smitty and Jeannine Lefebvre; and three brothers, Lucien, Roger, and Arthur Carbonneau Jr. Pauline was a devoted wife and loving mother. She loved to dance, and had many friends and activities that she was involved in.
