JEFFORDS, LORAINE E., 72, died February 18 at Brookside Nursing Home in White River Junction. She was born March 8, 1937, in Northfield, the daughter of Roland and Josephine (Johnson) Jarvis. She attended Northfield schools and graduated from Northfield High School. She married Gerald "Jeff" Jeffords on Aug. 22, 1959, in Northfield. They moved to Wilder in 1975. Mrs. Jeffords worked at Nadin's Stocking Co. and cleaning houses in Norwich. She was a parishioner at St. Anthony's Church in White River Junction. She enjoyed knitting, yard sales, flower gardening and cooking. She is survived by her husband of Wilder; a son, Andrew Jeffords of Wilder; two daughters, Ann Jeffords of Dunellen, Fla., and Andrea Cody of Wilder; three granddaughters; a great-grandson; a brother, Edward Jarvis of Clarksville, Tenn.; and a sister, Joanne Abbey of Northfield.
