HAGGETT, HELEN MABEL, 86
HAGGETT, HELEN MABEL, 86, of East Barre, died February 18 at Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin. Her family had been at her bedside. Born Jan. 14, 1924, in Middlesex, she was the daughter of Charles A. and Flora (Barnett) Guyette and had attended schools there. On June 5, 1948, she married Earl W. Haggett Sr. in Middlesex. They first made their home in Montpelier and later in Barre City and Lower Websterville. He died April 25, 1979. Bingo, craft working and soap operas were her special interests and she was a longtime member of Project Independence. Survivors include her two sons, Robert Haggett and wife, Carol, of East Barre, with whom she made her home, and Earl Haggett Jr. and wife, Beverly, of Williamstown; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Charles Guyette, of Barre City and nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Pearl Kidder, and three brothers, Earl, Ralph and John Guyette.
