ST. JOHN, WILLIAM D., 69


ST. JOHN, WILLIAM D., 69, died January 27 at Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Barre on March 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Arthur and Josephine (Dufield) St. John. He attended St. Monica Catholic School and was a graduate of the Vermont School for the Blind. He was employed as a cook at the former Fric's Restaurant in Barre until his retirement due to his disability. He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre. He also volunteered at the Galley Senior Meals in Barre. Survivors include three nieces, Colleen White and Kelly Stroup both of Barre and Tanya King of Middlesex; one great-grandniece and one great-grandnephew. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Florence White and Doris Farnham; three brothers, Carroll St. John, Richard St. John, Donald St. John, and one step-brother, Frank Evans.
