A son, Jason Ennis Thijs Slomp, was born to Shelby (Ennis) and Olaf Slomp on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Het Lange Land Ziekenhuis in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands. Jason weighed 8 lb 3 oz at birth, and measured 20.5 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Don and Alice Ennis of Graniteville. Paternal grandparents are Jaap and Tjitske Slomp of Lippenhuizen, The Netherlands.
