SALOMAA, IRENE BEVERLY, 85
SALOMAA, IRENE BEVERLY, 85, died at the Blue Spruce Home for the Retired on June 20. She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in West Topsham, the daughter of William Merrill and Reta (Thurston) Welch. She was a member of the Grange and the Homemakers in Corinth. She attended the New Hope United Methodist Church in Waits River. She was predeceased by her parents, her stepfather, and her former husband, Theodore Salomaa Sr. She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Burroughs of Hampton, N.Y., Linda Tillotson of East Corinth and Brenda Batten of Corinth; one son, Theodore Salomaa Jr. of Bradford; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Dolores Smith of Meredith, N.H.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
