ARBUCKLE, CLIFFORD C., SR., 89, of Braintree, died June 22 at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph. He was born May 4, 1920, in Randolph; the son of Fred and Margaret (Baker) Arbuckle. He attended Braintree and Randolph schools, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was married to Dorothy Benoir on April 16, 1958, until her death in 1994. He worked on the road crew for the Town of Braintree for 34 years, was a dairy farmer, and also drove trucks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. Survivors include his sons, Clifford C. Arbuckle Jr., and Roy W. Arbuckle, both of Braintree; daughters, Gloria, Bettey and Barbara; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bernard Arbuckle and Frederick Arbuckle, Jr.; and sisters, Jenny Sager, Flora Sargent, Bessie Sager, Viola Chamberlin and Avis Edson.
