ROBINSON, NELSON LEWIS
ROBINSON, NELSON LEWIS, known as "RED," passed away unexpectedly June 13, at the Emerald Coast Care Center, Fort Walton Beach, Fla. He was born Jan. 13, 1939, in Plainfield. As a child, he lived and went to school in Barre. In his early years, he lived and worked in Tucson, Ariz. For the past 42 years he lived in Fort Walton Beach. He worked in construction and as a mechanic. He loved car racing and competed professionally in drag racing. He was very active in the Moose and Elks Lodge where he had many friends and enjoyed bingo. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Hazel Robinson of Barre, and his ex-wife Beverly Murray Robinson. He leaves two daughters, Tammy Goulette and Kimberly Joslin; four grandchildren; sister Beverly Amaral and a nephew Steven Amaral of Las Cruces, N.M. He leaves many cousins from Arizona, Florida and Vermont. He also leaves very dear friends of 31 years, the family of Rosemary Benson. He had a deep love for dogs and will miss his many little friends.
