LEGACY, MILDRED J., 74, died June 10 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She was born Jan. 20, 1935, in Royalton, the daughter of Lyman and Marion (Martin) Gilman. She graduated from Royalton High School. She was married to Glenn Legacy Sept. 26, 1952, in Barre. He died in 2003. She worked on the family farm before going to work at G.W. Plastics in Randolph. They owned and operated Lone Pine Rabbitry in E. Randolph for several years. She later worked for Progressive Plastics. She enjoyed auctions, sewing, and making hand sewn quilts. She is survived by three sons, Alan Legacy of Randolph, Scott Legacy of Roxbury and Peter Legacy of Randolph; three daughters, Linda Ferris of Braintree, Carol Young of Randolph and Penny Rogers of Swanzy, N.H.; four brothers, Charles Gilman of Bethel, Edward Gilman of Braintree, Glenn Gilman of Hopewell Jct., N.Y. and William Gilman of Derry, N.H., three sisters; Lucy Irwin of Laquey, Mo., Anna Hardway of Bristol and Carol Bollanger of Caribou, Maine, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
