RONNER, ARTHUR F., 61
RONNER, ARTHUR F., 61, of Williamstown, died peacefully on April 15. Art was born in NYC on Aug. 6, 1947. He was the second son of Raymond G. and Elizabeth (Flaherty) Ronner. As a "city boy," Art's bond with nature developed through his many childhood summers spent in the Pennsylvania and New York State countryside coupled with his active involvement in Boy Scouting. Over a lifetime, Art guided those around him to walk with nature, to observe and reflect in unobtrusive ways. He was a diligent custodian of the lands he proudly owned. His many canoe camping treks further enhanced awareness of the beauty of unencumbered nature. A master electrician by profession, and a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 300, Art travelled nationwide for his work. In doing so, he developed acute perspectives on human nature and always returned home to Vermont with stories that livened many a conversation. Art was a man of deep love, great heart and caring. He is sorely missed by many including his family: Mary, Dan, Kyler and Maxwell, Rebecca, Jim and Amy and his dearest friend, Andy.
