ANNIS, JANE MAUDE LAPLANTE, 79
ANNIS, JANE MAUDE LAPLANTE, 79, of Wrentham, Mass., died June 14 at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Mass. Born in Hyde Park, she was the daughter of the late Ernest J. and Mildred (Musgrove) Laplante, and attended Montpelier High School. She retired from the Kendall Company in Walpole. She had worked as a secretary for the Medfield State School and Wrentham State School, a nurse's aide at Norwood Hospital and a chocolate maker at the Chocolate Factory in Mansfield. Formerly of Vermont, she was an active member of the Original Congregational Church in Wrentham, where she was involved in many acts of service. She had served as a member of the Diaconate and the church board of trustees, the Wednesday bible study and the bulletin folder. She was also a member of the Fern Chapter and Angle Stone Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and the Wrentham Seniors, where she had been a volunteer driver and assisted at the Senior Center. Loving mother of George Annis and wife Patricia of Calais, Sheila Annis of Millis, Mass., James Annis of Wrentham, Pearl R. Gottberg and husband Gerald of Franklin, Mass., Thomas Annis of Wrentham, and the late Joyce Zakalusny and husband Adrian, of Riverdale, Ga.; sister of James Laplante of Middlesex. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
